Department of Geography, offers M.A. /M.Sc. Program covering contemporary and emerging fields of Geography having wide ranging interests to meet the growing needs of the Research Organizations and Academic Institutions.

The education programme in M.A. /M.Sc. Geography was initiated with a motivation to generate a workforce that could turn into a substantially trained pool to meet the world's demand of Geographers. Special attention will be paid to the theoretical and the practical aspects in curricular design that make the students familiar with modern technological skills and devices and thereby making them eligible for getting jobs in various public and private concerns. In addition, we motivate students to take teaching and research as a career and join national and international leading research institutes.
