The Department of Fine Arts was established in 2017 under self-financing scheme.Fine Arts is a program in which the hand, the head, and the heart of personare synced together. Fine Arts offers undergraduate and post graduate degree programs that deals with the study of Visual or Performing Arts. Itincludes subject such as Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, and Photography etc. Fine Arts course educate and reforms the skills of candidates as well as enables them to become artists in their chosen field.While wide variety of opportunities are available for Fine Arts graduates and postgraduates in India and aboard;there is a good demand of BFA& MFAstudents in the sectors of cinema, television, advertising, animation, publishing, textile, art studios, boutiques, educational institutes and so on.
This department has much scope to develop cultural, religious and historical Avadh Arts methodologiesin this remoteregion of Avadh. Its mission is to work on these aspects andcreate job opportunities for people of this region and uplift the society for better quality of life.Fine Artsgovern the life of every individual, society and modern states. It integrates the study of Fine Arts with that of organizational and institutional aspects of effective management and addresses key policy issues in human life. This Department is running by skilled Faculty members with well-equipped smart class rooms, computer facility, Painting Sculpture& Applied Art laboratory, studio, Art Gallery cum seminar hall and broadband internet availability. The course is suitable for persons working in various Governments –Non-government Departments/ Agencies, NGOs etc.
Since its establishment the deparment of Fine Arts has always been the vibrant departmentin universty campus and Avadh region by its creative and innovative artistic work through various art workshop, trainning programmes & Art Competitions. It has always been involved in teaching & research work. The courses in the Department are designed as per the competitive needs of society, students and job market under the guidelines of UGC.
